Some of the names seem obvious to me but are
the following for Perl

And if not what are Perl files?
Lastly if the make did not install the files
as I got one message during make

First I would point out v. 7.0.3 is compiled and working
fine on all
machines..
I had one success and two failures for 7.1.2
on Make .
The success on Cald

Help.. I had been running my compiled source v. 7.0.3 this compiled and
runs fine..
First is there a great need to move to v. 7.1.2?
What advantages are offred?

to compile with java ant from Apache ( my own error). My intention was

compile and install with switches for java .. perl.. tk/tcl and

I have downloaded postgres V. 7.1.1 and
run gunzip and tar on the file
before I run config I need direction..
I noticed less space on /dev/sda3 then
on /dev/sdb/2.. So, I have decided on an
install on /dev/sdb2 which I mount on boot
through mtab to /mnt/sdb2 It looks like...

Why does there exist a binary rpm for Caldera eServer
2.3 but not for
Caldera 2.3 edesktop or 2.4 edesktop. I want to install
on edesktop.
What are the differences and problems.
I had read on the PostgreSQL site not to install eserver
rpm on the
edesktop,
"as there are differences"
