wondering if the Alien guys here have a comment, as almost all of the
missing radio streams are via Alien. Here's what I wrote in this

Post an example of the Alen playlist so at least we can get an idea of
what you are doing.
Most BBC programs only are valid for 7 days so perhaps they have
expired and been removed.

What you have done is nothing to do with Alien and I cannot help. I
don't think those sort of links are useful are they are not the proper
URL and will probably break when AlienBBC is updated or the database ids
changed as it depends on the assigned playlist id.

Thanks for that. I hadn't realized - with respect to your Point #1 -
that the Beeb was available in this format outside the UK (I'm a
Birkenhead lad living in Dallas, TX), so I'll go that route and save new
playlist URLs.
I guess I still need Alien outside the UK for all the Beeb archive
stuff
The availability of WMA stream (albeit at 48kbit) outside of the UK was
only enabled in June so you can play the live stream through
SqueezeNetwork - no need for SC.
At present for non UK users - the Listen Again iPlayer programs are
in RealAudio and AAC. AAC format gives better quality but is
