I’m having some troubles utilizing mutually exclusive layer groups in QGIS 2.12
My case is quite simple - I have a main group (labels) with three mutually
exclusive groups inside (one for each of 3 languages). These groups contain
layers with configured labelling (city_labels, country_labels etc.
Hi list,
I have a postgis layer with a numeric field, which is configured to "Value Map"
edit widget.
When I’m editing the field value in attribute table panel, i get a dropdown
list of mapped descriptions, but when I choose one, the value in a table
doesn’t change. When I edit the same field t
Is it possible to set label wrapping on more than one character, i.e. on ‘-‘ or
‘_’ ?
I know this can be done by replacing strings in db query, but I’d like to do it
in QGIS.
I think some kind of expression might help...

Hi!
With QGIS 2.8 nested rules look great in layer tree. I wonder if it is possible
to bring up symbol definition window of the clicked symbol instead of opening
Style tab in Layer Properties window?
When I want to fine-tune the current symbol, I have to open Layer Properties -

I wonder if it’s possible to use variables for colour values, line widths etc?
I have rule-based styling with lots of rules, and I want to change the colour
value in one place and not in every rule that uses the same symbol. I’ve been
using variables a lot in CartoCSS styling, but I really miss

That’s where the problem really is - when I deactivate higher level rule,

I have a layer with rule-based styling.
The first rule filter is “obtype=1”, second is “obtype=2”. When I refine the
first rule with scales, I get several subrules (as expected), but they have (no
filter) for filter value.
But the symbols get rendered from both the higher level rule and the matc

key?

Hi list,
I have a non-spatial postgres table in my QGIS project which I want to edit in
attribute table window. When I open it, first time when I change any attribute
value and hit "Save Edits” button, the data is updated in the DB and updated in
QGIS attribute table window. But when I try to e
