How are you starting qmail-pop3d. It sounds like you have a file
permission issue, or more likely you script doesn't tell qmail-pop3d what
to use to authenticate users against
An example for tcpserver is
tcpserver -H -R 0 pop3 \
qmail-popup sysadmin-inc.com \
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw qmail-pop3d
make sure that you have mysql library path in /etc/ld.so.conf and run
ldconfig to recompile the (I think its a hash) file

Why is qmailadmin is limited to only 2
forwards??
Am I wronge or not. Qmailadmin doesn't allow
the list owner or moderator of a list to add and delete
subscripbers. The only person that have access to that control is a domain
admin right???

Hello all. I been unable to find any documentation that tells how to setup an
mailing list and email account so the Owner of the list could login to
qmailadmin and administer it like postmaster can. What I want to do is say; Give
[EMAIL PROTECTED] access to only [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL
have looked at each of these files and they are not symbolic links and I
have looked at the qmailadmin file and can't figure out why this error
message keeps popping up.

if other messages are bouncing.

domains, users and other directories. The cron file seems to be empty, with just a few
comments and no crontab entries in it.

Ahh, "Life with qmail". I've read it cover to cover twice, annotated it with all the
ways that aliases can be implemented, and still have not found how this forwarding is
working.

IF your setup is standard, you can go to
/home/vpopmail/domains// and do a ls -a. You
should see a file called .qmail-. If you edit that, it
should contain the forwarding instructions.

Find the vpopmail/bin directory. Its quite likely /home/vpopmail/bin.
Otherwise, try to find
coworkers address. Is there any way to edit the configuration of
qmailadmin directly to either change the password on the web page, or change this
forwarding mechanism.
