I'm willing to give the Google Groups a try. I have avoided reflectors
in the past because they seemed to attract spam but this service
appears better protected. Macs are neat and I've used them since 1986
or so but they are more fun when one can converse with others who also
apprecia

I predict you will lose members by doing this move. The way it is set
up now is vastly superior to the way google groups is set up as you
can save the messages you want in your own email box and you don't
have to hut through the whole group to find something.
