I could see that being the case because her atlantis would have cantilever
brakes. It is the brake caliper that is limiting the adjustment.

My wife's Atlantis had the long boards with 40's. No rubs and looks good to

padding and the leather to glue it back together. Have at least 500
miles on my since 'repairing' it with no discernible (to me) loss of
comfort.

My AHH has 38mm Schwalbe's and the rubbing is so slight that there is not
even any resistance but enough to make a sound that drives me absolutely
bonkers. I am not trying to find a solution at this point, they are just off
