I like the beard, too. Great sweep and made for black and white photography!
My wife gets upset when mine gets that ... distinguished looking.
But, Bill, say it isn't so -- you cut out a chunk and made it into mutton
chops?!

Great climbing shots, Bill! Those are hard to capture well, and Grant did a
wonderful job getting the crest of the hills, where it really shows up.

Thanks, Bill. I’ve been considering putting different bars on my ‘87 Trek
Antelope. I’ve been waffling between Bullmoose, Albastache, and Chocos. The
Chocos look good on a bike like that. The forward curves look like a nice spot
to grip.

Ramon asked if the handlebars on the Atlantis are Wavie bars.
No, those are Choco bars. The Wavie is much wider.

Bill, by chance were the bars on that Atlantis the new “wavie” bars they’ve
been working on? Atlantis looks good as a hilly bike.

Thanks for noticing. Grant emailed me a photo a few days ago, but these
two I hadn't seen before. They are great shots. I'll try to figure out
how to get prints of them for my wall of fame. I'm happy how the shots
turned out, but I'm proud that Grant called me a good rider :)

Mark’s post rings true just now, regarding the random happenings associated
with riding a bike. Recent happenings include inadvertently joining a Christmas
parade, being bitten by a dog, and watching a team of college students operate
a huge catapult to launch pumpkins and other projectiles. Lif
Early Christmas present! Kinda awesome! Speaking of random happenings, that's
one of the things I truly love about bicycles. When I'm out on mine, especially
around town, I'm invariably bumping into folks, finding out about things, and
seeing sights that I wouldn't see encased in an automobile.
Saw your post on Strava - looked like a fun one!

"Grab a bike" sounds so friendly & welcoming. Hoping those photos turn up
soon. I'll bet he's got film to develop. He gets such interesting effects
from the variables in film photography that can't happen in digital.
