While snow-belt folks may laugh at us, we've got disaster rather well
covered here in CA. I drove 8 hours from SF to SD today in rain,
90mph wind, a blinding duststorm, hail, and a snowstorm over Gorman on
the I-5. All in a 92 Volvo 240 with the check engine light glaring at
me and 2 small childre
I spent 21 years in LA...it vowed, that if snow ever stuck to the
ground I would retreat to my rooftop with a video camera.

Just recieved a text from my fater in law that they have about in inch
or 2 sticking to the ground at their place in Stevenson Ranch. Out
here in Ventura nothing but rain, am sure the mountains are packed in
with snow, but too many clouds to see. Still fun riding, just layer
up with the wool!!
