Try this :
sage: var("x, t") ## t will be used later
(x, t)
sage: y=function("y") ## Note : no default argument
sage: sol=desolve(diff(y(x),x)==(x*y(x)^2 - cos(x)*sin(x) )/(y(x)*(1 - x^2))
,y(x), ics=[0, 2]) ; sol ## Note : specify y argument
1/2*(x^2 - 1)*y(x)^2 + 1/2*cos(x)^2 == (-3/2)
In Sage, is it possible to find a such that
\int_{a}^{\infty} e^(-x^2/2) dx=2^(-20)

Yes, this would probably cause this error. Good luck!

It would be better if you posted the matrix complete, or if it's a
complicated expression, try to simplify it in a way that the error is
still produced. It is difficult to imagine what the problem could be
with so little information.
