I have a strange problem.
When I log on with USERNAME1 on Windows7 part of a domain, a Windows
profile is created.
When I do the same with USERNAME2, the profile is not saved on the PC...
The default profile is always used when USERNAME2 connects.
The same problem occurs on other PC with USE

We did an upgrade of samba.
Now, we use samba3.
Previously, the smb.conf was configured like that:
[global]
...
admin users = @somepeople
...
This would not be possible with samba3.
How to solve this problem ?

Hi,
I have a problem with a PC (OS: Windows XP) and Samba.
Windows XP client can join Samba (2.21) Domains without an error message.
I create Unix and Samba machine account for the new client like this:
useradd -g machines -c "windows xp workstation" -d /dev/null -s /bin/false
-m PCWINXP$
