did not found anything and the sane site does not even mention it.

ld driver does not work with the new
scanner (and they don't make it available anyway).
I got it to work from an emulated Windows (or a Mac).

I try to use a plustek 9630P on a fedora 8 but :
1) it is detected as 600/600P
2) scaning an image just doesn't work
