It's no skegs on a FAI tape in Chicago, just like F3J. That's an easy
landing task for the pilot and on the model.

As you know, I do not like skegs. Usually stopping in less than an inch travel, skegs give a severe shock to the sailplane and hard mounted electronics. I know of three competition sailplanes and one prominent contestant that have been physicaly damaged (or injured) this year caused by us
