Over the weekend I've hacked an HDA to bridge Houdini to headus UVLayout.
I know some of you have used the Softimage to UVLayout Add-on in the past, so I
hope you have use for this. Comments on implementation and improvements are
welcome.

I would side with Oscar on this one. It might be a good starter tool for
roughly trying out some poses quickly. But the finer detailed animation
process needs way more sophistication and controls to achieve desirable
quality. A lot of new things are being tried every now and then but I
believe
Oscar Medina (and many others) have been playing with the idea for many
years now.

Personally, I think it's one of those things that look great on a techreel

tutorials on MokaStudio's vimeo channel,
Thanks Andy!
Exactly what I'm looking for

Hi,
I'm getting my feet wet with Houdini (first task: fluid hitting a surface). It
feels nice actually, but the sheer amount of
documentation/tutorials/starterguides is quite overwhelming and with a slightly
different terminology it's not so easy to >quickly< find answers to rather basic
thx for the links
I'm liking these new animation tools coming out
