As QLogitechMediaServer is running in chroot, the layout could feel
strange. But you be simular to the normal layout. When running go to the
LogitehMediaServer directory by ssh shell. Then browse to
.config/LMSROOT/share, and check the several directories there where
you're music can be found. fr

Thanks very much. That version installed fine! But, I can't get LMS to
set the media library to my shared folder
At least it's not just me.
Maybe Michael can take a look.
(I just got the $20/yr ad-free deal, so that was my fix.)

How can I check that ?
I'm a complete noob on linux.
The music folder was build in Win7, all the folders inside are 'read
only', with complete control for all users.

Missing music files are often caused by wrong file permissions.

Music is on an external USB HDD.
But I have a problem. When I scan my library, some music folders are

Nothing I try fixes this.
Any other Slacker users here?
Is the v1.0 plugin the latest version?

In the ssots/ssods there were lots of routines/process running in the
background. Where QLogitechMediaServer.sh only prepares, and uses a
regular build perl. And starts optimized by using ionice. jasell wrote:

Oke you could also tried, ssh shell go to the LogitechMediaServer
directory.
And then rm SlimServer/.INSTALLED, and restart QLogitechMediaServer.
This will always do a fresh installation, set the owner and rights and
preserve the Cache and prefs.
I was just gone write you this option.
But see yo
Oke then the ts-x19 version should work.
The other thing its using is chroot.

uname -m returns "armv5tel". I believe that's a lower case L, but it may
be the numeral "one" in the PuTTY font.

Oké that's strange, the installation is missing the chroot. Could you go
on the ssh shell. Then do CD /share/*/.qpkg/LogitehMediaServer. Then do
ls -l .config/, it should then show LMSROOT. jtudor wrote:

I've just upgraded from 2.03 to 2.03.01 on a QNAP TS-677.
Never had any problems before, but now when I try to start the server, I
get this error:
The QLogitechMediaServer source, not connected !
Any ideas what might be causing this? I can't see anything else in the
logs.
Cheers
