I didn't see your post before finding a soluti
Ok, I went back to basics and tried to install LMS 7.9.2-1 to CentOS 8
Fresh install of CentOS 8.1 as virtual machine. Small webserver, no
GUI. Apply all updates.
Then
# wget
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.2/logitechmediaserver-7.9.2-1.noarch.rpm
# dnf localinstall
Thanks for reply.
I'll search for some time to try this over again, with fresh install of
CentOS 8, and document all the steps along the way.
Then I'll be equipped to ask better questions.
Your patience is awesome.

via package "Slim::Utils::OS::RedHat"

Hey Ronnie
Thanks for reply.
Yes, the URL above comes from the RP website. And the exact same URL
works for me in VLC, so it appears my geography is not b
I try to stream from RP using
https://www.radioparadise.com/m3u/aac-320.m3u
but my SB3 says "Can't open file for Radio Paradise Naim exclusive"
So does that mean the 320 AAC stream is unavailable to LMS /
SqueezeboxServer users ?
