You can internationalize your tiles definitions. In the localized
version you only override the localized strings.

I am using jsf beta with Struts nightly and jsf-faces nightly, I have
used it also with struts 1.1 with no problem.
Tiles is supported in the nightly jsf-faces but it's buggy, jsf-impl has
also its share of bugs.
I'm looking forward to a stable release of both libraries.

It is a huge disappointment that the servlet 2.4 specification didn't
address programmatic authentication. Dispatching requests to
j_security_check is a pain in many use cases.
I really hope that a future version of tomcat would address this even if
this didn't make it into the spec this time.

2. Precompile your jsp before viewing them.
3. Develop inside an unpacked war.
4. Use xdoclet
