I will be in Manila on March 11 to 15 for the 5th Smart Innovations
Awards. Maybe I can join the Mapping Party on March 14.

Hi,
Can we finalize the date? March 14 seems to be the favorite. Any
other proposal?

Hi All,
Was surprised to see Mapnik updated on a non-wednesday. I just added
provincial roads in the Manaoag - Mangaldan Pangasinan area last night and
was surprised to see it on the Mapnik layers this morning. Are they
updating more frequently now?

My 2-centavos worth of observation ... We may be looking in the wrong
direction ...
Maning earlier stated:
The coastline west of Luzon. Is now filled with water again, we had
to use enormous dredging machines to removed re-claimed land. See it
in osmarender:

Couldn't find Jon's address, but I raised a ticket on trac, Ticket #1629 (new
defect)
Damn, this is bugging me ... I keep thinking of all these new users coming to
the site, seeing that coastline, laughing and then leaving.

Thanks Murlwe!
Can I propose this as our flavor of the month edit?

Thanks for the info. The prior approval clause disturbs me a bit

I'm just uploaded my traces for the following:
- Davao City to Cagayan de Oro City
- Davao City to Polomolok via Gen. Santos City
- Davao City to Surigao City via San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, Barobo,
Lianga, Tandag City, Tago in Surigao del Sur and Placer in Surigao del
Norte
- Davao City to Kida
The updating of the coast shape files on the tile server/s is a manual task
I believe, probably performed by Jon Burgess by fetching them from the
tile.openstreetmap.nl site...
It may be an idea to drop him a line and/or raise a trac ticket at
http://trac.openstreetmap.org/*
