60 ft is very low for a horizontal antenna on 160, but that could load
quite well as a top-loaded vertical. Simply tie both sides of the
ladderline together and load it against as many radials as you can put
down.

design uses 73 material ferrite, and that does not always work the best on

Thanks for all the replies about the G5RV RF into the shack problem. We
ordered a W2DU-HF choke balun from AES that is supposed to solve the problem
1.8-30 Mhz with a GOOD ground for the transceiver and power supply. Will
post here how it works out. Floyd says thank you he is 89 and NOT on
