Check that the Fixed Volume is set to 100%
I looked for info on the web
Touch SPDIF and analog outs are always both active unless you've
disabled one using EDO.
Why not uninstall EDO and use SPDIF?

I've installed the EDO plugin via the supported way and the menues
of the Touch with sighted help now, but the DAC is still not found, Its
the DAC-40 from Accuphase. It has also RCA digital and a optical input,
so I can also use this and there is no need for USB, just wanted to
try But I

Perhaps his DAC has USB input only. If not, and for example has S/PDIF
or Optical, I'd recommend using one of these connections over trying to
use EDO.
When you reboot the Touch (press button on left back above power port),
you will see a startup message about EDO being loaded. It is in the
upper left of the screen and maybe you can see it flash by if not
totally blind.

- Downloaded the EDO plugin zip file from
https://code.google.com/archive/p/triodeapplets/downloads.
- Unpacked the EnhancedDigitalOutput-v0.8.zip file and copyd the files
