Oops, sorry about that. Uploaded the wrong picture. Maybe this one gives
you a better idea. Although it does not look like it on the picture you
can read the info on the screen quite well from that distance. I do not
have a SB3.

If you have/had an SB3/Classic to compare, the screen is harder to read
at the same distance. Although the Digital Clock is huge and very
readable from a greater distance.
The photo viewer / slide show is ok if you are viewing from a few feet
away, anything beyond that and you will go
I've been pleasantly surprised at how readable the text is from a
distance. Biggest difficulty is that the Touch is far more reclined
than the SB3 so it's easier to read when I'm standing up than sitting
down. Perhaps it's time to put our Squeezeboxen on the bottom shelf of
the hi-fi rack, not

How could is the Ipod touch as a remote currently using a Logitech
Harmony 525.
Don't want to be held to ransom when my mobile contract is up for
renewal in July (get a Iphone ?)

IPEG is what I'll be using for my Touch, so distance not all THAT a
major deal, but would be good to see the display from across the
room..
The 10 feet skin should be fine im sure, just one of those things that
will be better if it works.
It's more about the sound quality via the digital out
