It doesn't sound like you have the proposed changes installed. The
sequence of events that you listed should work fine and does work fine

The real issue is that the image is not captured from the camera's
source the moment you take the picture. Instead the camera shutter sound
is played along with some other behind the scenes stuff. Capturing
should be the very first thing done to reduce the latency between
pressing the capture butto
@Michael: another thing you could try is to edit the video and reduce it
to a 5-10 second clip total. See if that clip also does not play. If it
does, that means the editor restructured the video to make the decoder
happy. If not, you should be able to share that short clip with myself

currentSource of Playlist gets set to
I'm not sure I understand why it's blocked because of revision 1? I'm
not familiar enough with how the declarative object exporting works in
regard to revisions. Is it blocked because it's exporting as revision 1
of the parent object, which is QDeclarativeAudio?
