I get no output. It runs for about 5 seconds and returns to the prompt:

Note that I changed the executable file name. I could not fine either
cnijjet or cnijet.

cannot print to Canon MX860 after upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04

I think my only other option is to de-install and re-install the printer
driver. That is a pain because Canon does not support Linux drivers. I
have to search the web for the latest version from a hopefully reliable
source. It takes a day. Doing this always results in inconsistent
results for p

After upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, I can no longer print to my Canon MX860. It is
connected to my WiFi network.
- I can successfully ping the printer.
- I can connect to the printer via the printer web server.
- When I try to print, it just hangs: no error messages, no printing
