Thanks anyway. I'll leave it on all night. I'm up to 226 MB of 858MB. Whoo
Hoo!
Still faster than dialup. :-|
P.S.: I don't suppose it makes a difference to download the most recent of
all of the versions and make torrent files if I'm the only one serving,
right?
Unfortunately if there is a mirror to that particular directory I don't know
where it is.
Is there a mirror? Perhaps at the FSF?
The download is taking forever. 22 MB downloaded over 19 minutes... 11 hours
to go.
I'm downloading "trisquel_7.0-20140708_amd64.iso".
Thanks.
Anyway, what problem did you exactly have with Belenos? Is it "simply" that
the LiveCD underutilises your RAM (which in that case I think I recall
another distro in which its Live CD would see less RAM than there actually
is, but everything becomes fine once the OS is installed).
And having
There's are ISOs here http://devel.trisquel.info/makeiso/iso/
I think Trisquel 7 is, de facto, available, but de jure isn't yet.
Yup I don't see it yet.
I think Ruben was sharing a timeline for release of Trisquel 7, but I haven't
heard the speech yet.
I was under the impression that Rubén's speech this past weekend included
the public release of Trisquel 7. I therefore expected the website to change
the default download to the new version.
Was this a wrong perception on my part?
thx magic banana
Thank tou!
When 7 is officially out, you can upgrade your prerelease, and you'll
have 7. The link to the development iso is:

Not all. For instance connman is missing despite being in Ubuntu:

The Linux kernels available from Trisquel's repositories all free/libre. I
assume you are referring to the latest Linux-libre kernels (version 3.15.x),
like those in jxself's repository (see
https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/update-linux-libre-kernel for the different
options).
The TL-WN722N
In my x60t I will change the internal wifi card so at the moment I plugged a
USB TL-WN722N, and with trisquel 6 fully updated work fine...
if I install libre kernel the wifi try to connect but never able to do it.
Hey xilixi! Yes, all free packages are included (unless they depend on a
non-free package).

However Trisquel 6 is based on ubuntu 12.04 which didn't include LeoCAD. It
will be available in Trisquel 7.
Yeah, Mozilla goes downhill fast. But as long as firefox remains free
software we have kind of a weapon against it.
Don't be too quick.
We shouldn't just think about the trisquel users; people expect a piece of
free software such as firefox not to have this anti-feature and it is enabled
by default on a debian system I'm currently running.
Hi guys! Recently I have been searching for CAD applications aimed at
drawing LEGO models. I came accross with LeoCAD.In its website I could read
that it is free(libre) software. This app is available at Ubuntu's
repositories though I couldn't find it on Trisquel. Is there any reason for
