after upgrading to TYPO3 6.2 LTS i saw that some extensions like
tt_news, tx_commerce ecc. do not change the page title anymore after the
page has been cached. (e.g. tt_news should set the page title for the
single view to the news title) This worked in 4.5 LTS.

According to the Upgrade wiki the PHP version for using TYPO3 6.2 LTS
must be at least 5.3.7. Ubuntu 10.04 has PHP 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.26 installed
by default. Is this a working combination?

problem solved; "/path/to/typo3/" was only the full path in the chroot
environment. Typo3 is not satisfied with this and wants the real real
path; "/path/to/chroot/path/to/typo3/". Now it's working :)

I solved it now by using ext:css2inline. I modified this extension so
that content saved in Typo3 (iso-8859-1) gets converted to utf-8.

that it is now possible to insert Youtube videos just by entering the
Youtube URL.
But i would like that the MEDIA element behaves more like "Text&Images"

the Firebug Javascript console the BE is unusable for me. But also with

read somewhere that the extension is not maintained anymore so i will
fix it by hardcoding the ext.

nc_ttnews_mostpopular won't work with Typo3 4.5 -- Line 138 in file
class.tx_ncttnewsmostpopular_hooks.php there is a $tce->clear_cacheCmd()
which causes a warning msg in FE. Is there already somewhere a fixed
version or should i open a ticket in bugs.typo3.org? Btw. i can't find
the extension
