I am familiar with char(27), I just wondered what is supposed to happen when
it's followed by char(2).
IAC, it does not appear to work with Wintegrate. Dang.

Character 27 ESCape is the universal lead-in character for a plethora of
non-human functions. It has no visual purpose in a stream of data coming
from a system to a device. But the device can detect it and process the
following characters based on specific purposes.

Never use file hashing type 4 or type 5 or type 8 or type 9.
They're evil.
You'll almost never have bad (clumpy) hashing if you use type 18
(which is the default type in PICK and REALITY flavor)
and if you use a modulo whose last digit is 1, 3, 7, or 9
(that is, any odd number not ending in 5.)

The VOC file on my UV/NT box is set up as a type 3 file .. I'm thinking that
that's NOT the right type for the file, but I'm not sure yet ..
The CREATE.FILE documentation says that type 2 to 18 are hashed files ..
HASH.HELP says that type 3 files should be used for mostly NUMERIC keys and
