I wasn't exactly asking for those 'tweaks'. I was just giving you
some feedback. The gallery2 package you provided works and installs
as well as the gallery2 package already in Dapper except it's the
newer version. ...which is still of value and I would love to see the
package as you currently

After a few tweaks, it worked fine! Below are my notes:
- After package installation I had to manually soft link
/usr/share/gallery2 to /var/www/gallery2
- For some reason setting the php memory limit in
/usr/share/gallery2/.htaccess (as gallery2 recommends in their setup
