The only way I'm able to get sound back after resuming is to kill the mixer panel applet, disable ESD / pulseaudio, and kill its processes. Then, if i modprobe -r snd_cs46xx; modprobe snd_cs46xx, I'm able to get sound back. Unfortunately, adding: MODULES=snd_cs46xx STOP_SERVICES=alsa-utils to
