Using Kubuntu 6.10, i have the panel on the bottom of the desktop, set
to "hide immediately" after the mouse cursor leaves it (and to reappear
when i touch the bottom). The position i set for the panel is bottom
centered (100% length). The problem is
gnome-power-manager doesn't appear to notice when new keyboards appear
in hal. It should, otherwise it will fail to notice the power button if
mouseemu is started after gnome-power-manager.

The patch is not likely to be used for edgy, the stable update procedure
is not trivial and can't be applied to every little bugs. That bug is
about non-default visual effects and you are the only one to have opened
a bug about it, that's a small problem and such not likely to justify a
stable upda
This is of course a wishlist, but I coulnd't find out how to mark it

I can verify the exact same behavior happens on my Acer TravelMate
4021WLMi. If I take out the AC power plug, the gnome-power-manager
instantly complains that power level is critical and threatens to power
off.
Sometimes it doesn't.. it will mark the battery as 50% as soon as I
disconnect the powe
