The external monitor, ethernet cable, etc. are connected through this docking

I've run the memtest and my memory is perfect, no errors. Microsoft Windows XP
runs with no troubles in my laptop, so is not a bad memory problem.

I also occasionally have had Compiz drop title bars.
Try Alt+F2 to bring up the Run Command dialog, then do compiz --replace.
That has fixed the issue for me each time this has happened.

I just wanted to add that I can confirm this happens with Glossy, Clearlooks
and Mist themes (but not the others) on totem-gstreamer.

OK, through trial and error (mostly error) i figured out this is a
problem between gutsy and usplash-theme-satanic (www.ubuntusatanic.org)

To be honest, I am not sure plainly adding python-numeric-ext as
dependency is the best solution. Maybe the import error can be handled

Same problem for me since Feisty. Upgraded from Edgy to Feisty and then
had to move to a different distribution. Totally unusable. Booted a
Gutsy LiveCD and the problem was still there. Booted the LiveCD again
later and it appeared to be randomly gone so I installed Gutsy only to

I launched the command debug line but the matter is that evolution just
freeze and don't generate error.
I found on forum that also others users has the same problem of the 3
limits mails downloaded and our ISP isn't the same cause i worked on
dedicated server.

I had exactly the same error under Linux. I opened the external disk
case and switched the jumper from "Master w/ Slave Present" to "Single
or Master" and the problem was solved. Things worked fine then.
