This problem happens to me too (on a Dell D620). Suspend/hibernation
worked perfectly on hardy, but doesn't work any more on intrepid. If I
issue pm-suspend, then machine suspends as it did on hardy, but when I
start the computer again, it does a cold boot. The log of pm-suspend
seems okay to me. P
do you use some plugins in gedit? there is nobody looking specifically
to gedit in ubuntu, the upstream maintainers are busy but reply
sometimes in bugzilla or on IRC though
