This bug also affects shorewall's save & restore/start -f features.
If shorewall's init script uses "start -f" instead of "start", the firewall may

I have observed the same problem with my Lenovo T61 laptop. After the
upgrade it started to loose files and behave strange (I guess the
strange behavior is a result of corrupted files.) After the failed
upgrade, I tried reinstall 9.04, this time using ext4. But soon after,
it started corrupting fil
I am going to confirm this.
Obviously I cannot reproduce this as we have different network cards.
But I think there is sufficient information to come to the conclusion
that this is in fact a bug. If I am wrong I encourage anyone to correct
me, and ultimately a bug controller will have to decide

I have an idea for a workaround: in crontab add a new line "0 * * * *
DISPLAY=:0.0 xset +dpms". You can see that when you have this problem,
xset q shows that dpms is disabled, and after running xset +dpms, xset q

ok, it seems that it's work. But after resume the fans are off until
temperature appears to 90 C (trip_points are 45:62:70:85), after that is
activated fan0state (everythings "on"). Then it works normal. Fans are
getting "off" with downgrading temperature and "on" with his increasing.

After a bunch of messing around and with some good advice from Kacper,
plus Jim Rorie's comment above, I've been able to get the subwoofer
enabled on the MBP5,1 - again this was mainly Kacper's work I really
just helped test it.
So Kacper has updated his patch against alsa-driver-1.0.19 to enable

The problem with Evince is that scrolling is too fast(abrupt), there's
no way to slow it down and I always need to hide the next part of the
text in order to try to guess it (maths course books). That plus the
lack of annotations.. So back on Okular and its eye-damaging fonts.

Ok I finally found the cause for that problem.
When I move the mouse during the double click it will be recognized as a
"double click" and as a "drag and drop".
To reproduce this:
1. open totem
2. add multiple files to playlist
3. play file
4. click in the area where the video is displayed
5. mov
