Mat, I don't see how this isn't a papercut, the definition is clear:
"A bug that will improve user experience if fixed, is small enough for
users to become habituated to it, and is trivial to fix."
This bug clearly fits all 3 aspects of the definition.

Had a conversation with Stephen on this bug and he came back with an
updated patch. I have applied this patch to the karmic kernel and build
a new test kernel again at the URL below. If you could test this
updated kernel for us and report back here that would be helpful.

Why do you like to have a CUE file?
brasero seems to call "cdrdao" and cdrdao is known for
not correctly supporting CUE files.
cdrtools on the other side do support CUE files but they do not
create them. cdda2wav creates *.inf files that are better suited
for cdrecord.

Marked bug as non-duplicate.
It has come to my attention that there is a flood of keyboard volume

GonzO, interesting suggestions. I agree that "stretch icon"
functionality should never take precedence over aligning the icons. I
would go with your suggestion 1.

The only system i could get this working at the moment was OpenBSD. To enable
this i had to provide 'edns0' as an option in resolv.conf[1].
I have attached a PCAP (openbsd.pcap) generated with tcpdump. If you observe it

Please try the -ati/-radeon packages for Jaunty in
https://launchpad.net/~tormodvolden/+archive/ppa to see if the latest
upstream fix helps here. Since it seems like many issues have been
mentioned in this bug report, I am especially interested in feedback
from the original reporter, lilly-marlene.
This issue is still here on jaunty for me with the same configs.
