I don't think we are going to do anything about this now unfortunately.
Almost all supported releases now have new enough kernels, so there is

I can tell you for a certainty that typing control-C to interrupt fsck
will not cause I/O errors in dmesg. If you are consistently getting I/O

Looks like they've disabled the ogg vorbis streams. We only include ogg vorbis
streams in the default radio stream list, so we'll have to remove them rather
than switching to mp3 streams.
