@ferret-x: This concerns internal mics, not front panel mics. Likely there is
some other problem with your front panel mic causing jack detection to fail.

Plasma-desktop freezes every time I launch skype using the Icons-Only

Update on my previous comment, unfortunately I experienced a hard freeze after
~1 week.
I'm running in 64bit, mother board is Asus P8H77-V LE. So 3.2.0-33 does not fix
the issue.
Anybody can report that there is no freeze at all with 3.4.0 ?

But how did you connect to 3G then? As per your description the airplane
mode should be activated then? How did you disable it? And what exactly
is airplane mode? Is that a hardware state in your computer? I have
never seen anything like that.

I extracted the package that was attached to this bug thread, called
debuild -S -sa, rebuild it with pbuilder and replaced the attached files
of this thread. I did not put a new entry into debian/changelog, as the
package was not uploaded to the repositories, yet.
