This has been affecting me on several installs through 12.10 -> 13.10 at
least. Sometimes it crashes without even asking for boot loader, usually
it crashes after asking for boot loader (which is fine, the stick works
in this case) and sometimes it doesn't crash. It doesn't matter what

I think I may have been able to reproduce this today with Trusty. The
system dropped to the busybox shell. It looked like there was a timeout
waiting to find the root filesystem by uuid. I took a digital picture

I started a kernel bisect between v3.11.5 and v3.11.6. The kernel bisect
will require testing of about 7-10 test kernels.

Failed to sign on
Doesn't work for me either. I installed "systemd-shim/saucy-proposed",
rebooted, suspended, waited 15 minutes and turned it on again -> wifi
didn't work. "sudo killall NetworkManager" still solves the problem, so
no regression.

Let's reassign this to mplayer. Seems like mplayer fails to handle
dvdnav:// if no /dev/dvd is present. I think it should try harder to
find a DVD drives in this case.

First I executed
/sudo apt-get clean/
Then I ran the software updater. It failed again:
The package system is broken
If you are using third party repositories then disable them, since
they are a common source of problems.
Now
