sounded similar. The logs were almost the same. But in my case the
notebook actually doesn't get to sleep mode at all, although according
to the log it should be.

Same issue with Ideapad 720s tested with the latest Ubuntu 19.10. I
don't get flashing on boot, but when the computer wakes up from sleep
mode it starts flashing and after 1 min or 2 the computer hangs.

all chinese characters appear to be rendered correctly. Same in a fully

This takes forever and nothing works. Trying to connect it, the 5GHz
connection disappears after a while and then appears again, tries to
connect it, etc. So it does not work with the backported driver from
PPA.

Also what does `snap known serial` show on this machine?
Typically that error is for when a device has not yet communicated with
the snap store to get a serial assertion, and thus can't install snaps.

I'm having issues passing Nvidia Tesla GPUs to an OVMF-mode guest. While
I can passthrough other devices to an OVMF-mode guest w/o a problem
(e.g. Mellanox Connect-X 5 VFs), I'm seeing a couple different failure
