When in little-endian mode, bytes are displayed in false order, when
grouped to halfwords or words.
For example:

Ghex views it as:

No, I don't confirm that. I hadn't seen anything like that, except
disappearing of top and bottom shadows. Shadows don't reappear even if
'enhanced zoom' in compiz is used. It seems that size of window also has
impact here, because for larger windows, sufficient shadow radius is
smaller.
