I recently migrated from an old System 76 desktop machine running 16.04

I recently changed from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04. I re-installed from
scratch as I was moving from 32bit to 64bit.
My lenovo x201 tablet's touch screen and stylus did work fine with 32bit
14.04.
Now the touch screen is not even recognised.
It does not show up in System Setting
Spoke too soon, ttyscroll=0 only improved things, it stills fails with
regularity.

Just asking for some clarification. This is marked as fixed, but that is
not actually true for the kernel in the stable Lucid branch, but
requires going to a newer kernel. I only raise this because I had such a
wonderful experience on my 1005HA with Karmic, where everything just

I haven't had a crash in quite some time. Of course it tended to be once or
twice a month so it may take awhile. I'm now running 185.18.36 on Karmic.
