The PCI-ID of the card is 14e4:4312. I attach the full lspci -vnn
output. Sorry about long results - I got the impression it's a routine
here and I tried to avoid multiple posts this time.

Oh, almost forgot that lspci -nvv doesn't report verbosely the vendor and model
(it's possible to check that, but I can submit it anyway):
03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4310 UART (rev 01)
That's the wifi card installed on Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop, type 0768-31G.

It seems to me, that the bug is related to yesterdays upgrade of
mozilla-firefox from 1.5 to 1.9.

There's a sigsegv, therefore I attach a valgrind log as well. Why not?

I have a very similiar problem - only, the program ocassionally hangs
instead of crashing. Anyway, I have attached a backtrace (I had to gdb
gnucash-bin, but I have previously sourced all variable-setting code
from /usr/bin/gnucash, therefore making sure that the execution
environment is ok)

Umh... exactly the same happens on an Edgy running on Lenovo 3000 N100
laptop equipped with a HL-DT-ST 'DVDRAM GMA-4082N' SATA DVD burner.
Neither sound-juicer nor nautilus-cd-burner recognize the drive.
CDParanoia works, cdrecord works as well.
