Just seeing: Also getting this message on the 2.6.32-25.44 kernel. And
on the 2.6.35-22 I'm left with the "modprobe fatal"... make by boot
screen look good again...

Same problem here, getting these messages since yesterday on 10.10 on my
desktop (Intel C2Q 9400, 4GiB RAM, Radeon graphics). In the attachment
is a part of the dpkg.log with the updates I installed yesterday and the
day before.
