I can confirm this bug,however when running a stacktrace,right clicking
and emptying the trash does not empty the trash.The confirmation
dialogue pops up but on selecting OK the files remain.
Not sure how to proceed from here.

This bug exists for me and has since kernels > 2.32.

Yes it is reproducible...
Upon logging into the default Ubuntu Desktop session Compiz/Unity fails

I'll confirm this.
When I enter text in the quick search field it takes forever to scroll
to the appropriate location.
With an empty search field scrolling works fine.
