There's no point holding off for work on yet another Transmission

needed in Jaunty. I always cancel the dialog which aborts the mount, and
then select mount manually from the disk mounter gnome applet. This is

Synaptic sometimes lists packages as auto removable when they shouldn't
be.
Steps to reproduce:
0) Make sure you are viewing the Status sidebar in Synaptic
1) Mark a package with dependent packages for removal (eg. synaptic).
2) When prompted th
Still a problem with Ubuntu Karmic and synaptic 0.62.5ubuntu3.
The original package should be unmarked immediately, and the dialog
should ask whether to keep or unmark the dependant marked packages. It
may be helpful to implement this using the auto remove logic.

The 2.5.6 merge should be targeted for Karmic, not Jaunty. I have opened
bug 384222 to deal with the SRU for the security vulnerabilities.

Transmission 1.70 has been released, with a number of new features and
bugfixes included.

* Distributed hash table (DHT) support for public torrents
* Add option for moving and finding a torrent's data on the disk
It should be fixed with 2.27.2, but Karmic still has 2.27.1. Problems
such as this are to be expected when using the development version of
Ubuntu.

The rhythmbox and system master volumes seemed to be linked before;
adjusting one would often adjust the other. Using rhythmbox
0.12.2-0ubuntu1 it appears this behaviour no longer occurs, so I believe
it's unlikely this crash will occur again. If it does I will reopen this
report.
