Found out, that I installed the wrong nvidia driver, the one which does
not contain any 32 bit libraries. To anybody else having problems with
64-bit + wine, remember to chose the installer file that ends with
-pkg2.run when you don't want to use the packages that come with your
distribution.

Hmm I guess it was not a very good idea to change that, I just updated to
1:2.6.6-1ubuntu2 which leads to a login error in icq.
Played around with a few options, like disabling clientLogin, turning on and

Actually I want to get the line-in to work not the built-in mic, as the mic
already works...
So I installed the new driver from the ppa, but it didn't change
anything. Also in alsamixer there are no different options.

A few days ago, a video file in my home folder, which was over 300MB large,
became unusable. Nautilus says the file has 0 bytes. When I try to open it,
every player reports, that the stream does not contain any data.
Unfortunately I can not tell when exactly or what the file corruption caused.
