I have a similar issue on two different laptops running 11.04 with the
Unity desktop. The first is an HP netbook with a clean install. The
second is my own laptop which is an Acer that I've been using Ubuntu as
my only OS since 8.04. It was an upgrade from 10.10.

Same issue here with Lucid Lynx 10.04. I try to export my VPN and after
choosing a filename and location (/home/user/...) I get this error.
"Cannot export VPN connection
The VPN connection 'Youniversity' could not be exported to Youniversity
(pptp).conf.

I am running jaunty 32 bit as well and have a logitech quickcam fusion
that works fully under windows, however, only the mic works in jaunty.

Really the easiest way is to just do a ip address reservation for your
NIC's MAC address on your DHCP server. That way when this long drawn
out bug is finally fixed, you won't have to do any special re-config
of anything.

I run an older intel 478 chip and an AGP ATI HD 2400 graphics card. Any video

I've upgraded to Ibex Alpha 5 and still no luck with the 5 in 1 card

With upgrade from Gibbon to Heron; I now cannot see windows shares, only
windows workgroups.
My 5in1 card reader does not work either.
I can see the Texas Inst. cardbus at the end of the list when I "lspci".
Both these devices worked before I upgraded to Heron from Gibbon.
