Sorry i should mention - mine is that when i open the setup assistant - the very first page the forward button works, on the second screen (import backup) forward is greyed out - if i tick the Restore checkbox - the forward button changes to apply and then if i untick it changes back to forward

i have this exact problem on Jaunty. During boot the LED is on the the numpad produces numbers. this continues to the Gnome login screen (can login using the numpad with the light still on). Then as soon as i have logged in and ahve a desktop - the LED is off but the numlock is actually on.
