Public bug reported:
Currently the AppArmor profile for strongswan prevents vpn connections that use
ipsec mode config from adding dns settings the client gets from the vpn gateway
to the /etc/resolv.conf.
This is because it has the settings for resolving but this is only readonly. It
is missin
Annother theory: the snap stores profiles in
$HOME/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla. Probably until 21.10 and since they changed
to ff snap first time this was a symlink to $HOME/.mozilla.
Now the install of the new ff snap in 22.04 replaced this symlink by a phsyical
directory. So it had no profile
Ran into this too. I could resolve it by deleting the firefox snap folder as
descibed above and afterwarts start firefox again.
Thus this was on a plain install of lubuntu 21.10 that never had any firefox
packages installed except from the ones shipped with 21.10.
Probably the issue is more that
did not yet try unistall brltty since i didn't notice an apropriate
message in my syslog. But I will give it a try and report the result
here..
