Hi,
Since the 'natty' upgrade, my system randomly freeze.
Some symptoms :
- first, screen is totally frozen
- song mute after some seconds after that
- some apps seem to continue to run
- Can't switch to tty
This issue can happens average three times a day.
I am using Ubunt
So, this bug will never be fixed in the current stable version??
And nobody can use samba network with gnome in Karmic?
This bug seem to break a major fonctionality of Ubuntu.
I don't understand why it is set to "low"?

I make a screencast which show the bug on ubuntu 9.10.
On the same distribution(9.10) a Kubuntu session can show this samba network.
On the same computer Debian distribution can show this samba network.

installation of ubuntu 9.10 and differents simple local network place.

On Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic I can't burn any DVD ISO image with Brasero.
K3b works fine and can burn the ISO DVD Image.

on the "restart" button, the screen become black. After few seconds the
background wallpaper of the installer reappears on the screen. Finally,

i can confirm this bug on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61. Trying to change themes
has no effect, all the decorations seem very basic, also 3D acceleration
is gone or looks very ugly. Maybe it has something to do with the
xserver-xorg-video-i810 or -intel update?
