After writing correctly the user password in the lock screen, the system
gets stuck on "checking" window. The only way to get the system unlocked
- is killing the gnome-screenserver process.

I everybody, Yesterday I installed 10.10 RC and I having the same
problem: When I enter the correct password at lock screen, the window
freezes at "checking". The only way to take control is killing the
process.
Can somebody review the following debug log?

I found in the bug report #525149 a similar issue with a VAIO. In post
#81 of that report there is a solution with new alsa drivers.
After that now my right speaker is working, but the left one doesn't
work. The internal microphone works, but the quality is low, very n
I reported the bug #652096 for the same problem but in a SONY VAIO
VPCS110FL. I installed patch from comment #81 and it works, but with the
same restrictions of #85 and #86
