Title:
Evince crashes when trying to open djvu
To manage
Update #2: I don't know if this will be helpful information, but I managed to
open DJVU files with djview4 after setting the environment variable:
LIBDJVU_DISABLE_MMX=1 in /etc/environment.
This is apparently due to an issue in the package DjVuLibre. From what I
checked, this doesn't help with
Update: it may be that this is not directly related to evince, as after
installing 'djview', and trying to open a djvu file with it, I get the
same "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error.

Public bug reported:
I tried to open a djvu file with evince. Instead of opening, the evince
window shows for less than a second, and then it crashes.
The djvu file is fine and opens well with evince 3.18.2 on ubuntu 16.04.
When I try to open the file through the terminal (with 'evince
') I get
My two fingers scroll gestures work, but they function opposite of how I
would prefer. Dragging the fingers downwards scrolls the screen upwards,
and vice versa.

Thanks for that comment!
I got the touchpad to work on ubuntu 18.04, kernel version: 5.3.0-46-generic,
by adding "i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" to the grub cmdline.

After seeing no solution to this bug, I upgraded my ubuntu distribution (fresh
install) to ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. The problem still persists in that dist.
I'm leaving this bug open for future reference, and I opened a new bug with the
new bug information, collected in the new dist.
Public bug reported:
I have installed Ubuntu 18.04.4 on my new Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15IIL, after
previously having the same problem in Ubuntu 16.04.6. The touchpad (ElanTech
0633) is not working.

Christopher M. Penalver, for all that is worth, I reported that this bug
affects me as well, but following some system upgrades, it seems to be
solved now.
This problem did not occur in an Ubuntu release prior to 16.04, on my
system.
