Olivier, where specifically is that setting? I don't see any menu called
'Options', and don't see a setting for showing time zones under Edit ->
Preferences.

Olivier, since I wrote comment #26, I actually got it working and since
then it seems to be reliable. What I did was:
1. Stopped Thunderbird, which had been running in safe mode.
2. sudo apt remove thunderbird-locale*
3. sudo apt install thunderbird-locale-en-gb
4. Start Thunderbird normally.

Unfortunately running "find ~/.thunderbird -name
langpack*@thunderbird.mozilla.org.xpi -exec rm {} \;" didn't fix it for
me. From before running that command, I had just the en-GB language
pack:
~$ find ~/.thunderbird -name langpack*@thunderbird.mozilla.org.xpi
/home/alistair/.t
This is still happening after upgrading to Ubuntu 20.10.

Public bug reported:
Apologies if this is filed against the wrong package. Please re-assign
it if so.
After upgrading to Ubuntu 20.10, the Unity title bar (with the
application title, time, wifi icon, etc) flickers constantly. The rest
of the screen does not flicker.
ProblemType: Bug
This is definitely fixed, and this bug can be closed.

I logged out, and logged in again using regular Ubuntu, and the same
happens. When I switch the headphones on, the Bluetooth settings show
the headphones connected for a second or so, then disconnected. They
don't appear in the sounds settings.

The workaround doesn't seem to help. I also notice that when the
headphones connect, the Bluetooth settings window shows them connected
for a second or so, then disconnected again.
